Our People – Your Catalyst for Social Good

Jennie Arbogash, MNM, Founder and Principal
Having worked continuously in the nonprofit sector for 26 years, Jennie is committed to social justice and has extensive experience in leadership, management, governance, strategy and planning, organizational development, philanthropy, social enterprise, facilitation and volunteer management. Jennie is a graduate of the Masters in Nonprofit Management program at Regis University, a Colorado Trust Fellow, a Harcourt Fellow and co-author of a capacity assessment process for nonprofit organizations.
Jennie believes she was born to engage incredible people and organizations in creating a just world together. For a long time, she did this by working and volunteering with direct service nonprofits. She and her colleagues were passionate and hard-working, trying to help more people flourish. But rarely were teams effectively running the business behind the mission — she felt alone, stressed and unhappy. There had to be a better way to do this important work…
And then she found Social Venture Partners Boulder County (SVP). As the CEO of SVP, she found a new way to impact communities. There she got to create partnerships, consult, train and facilitate volunteers to help nonprofits use effective business practices so their participants could thrive. Desiring to return to a deeper connection with direct service nonprofits, after twelve years it was time for her to start her own consulting business – Jennie Arbogash Consulting.
She lives with her husband, Tim, and favorite canine, Mischa, in Longmont, Colorado and currently volunteers with Social Venture Partners International (board member), Social Venture Partners Boulder County, Resource Central (board member), Longmont Community Foundation and League of Women Voters Boulder County.
